SCENE 1: OUTSIDE AMBER’S HOUSE

(Anthony and Mike pull up in a car. Anthony steps out in slow motion, wearing his signature shades, looking around.)

Mike:

“Yo, why Amber ask you to come through all urgent like that? You think it’s drama?”

Anthony:

“Nah, man. She said, ‘Just come by and be honest.’ Which either means I’m ‘bout to witness a miracle… or a mess.”

(They head to the porch. Amber opens the door, beaming.)

Amber:

“Come on in, y’all!”

SCENE 2: INSIDE – THE BIG REVEAL

(Anthony steps inside… then freezes. His jaw drops. The camera pans slowly across the room. Balloons, fairy lights, streamers, a big custom sign saying: “WELCOME BACK KAI – YOU’RE LOVED!” Photos of Kai smiling, trophies from his childhood, and a custom cake shaped like a video game controller.)

Anthony (stunned):

“LORD HAVE MERCY…”

(Mike trips over a balloon and falls on the couch.)

Anthony (walking slowly, like he just entered heaven):

“Ayo… is this… the same house? Or did you build a whole new world up in here?”

Amber (grinning):

“It’s the same house. Just a little love sprinkled in.”

Anthony:

“This ain’t no sprinkle, girl. You poured the whole jug of sugar, honey, and rainbows in this room!”

SCENE 3: FLASHBACK – WHY SHE DID IT

(Amber tells the story. Cue flashback scenes: Kai was feeling depressed after losing his job and falling out with his father. He moved back in with Amber. He’d been sleeping on the couch, barely eating, isolating himself.)

Amber (voice-over):

“I saw the light start to go out in his eyes, Anthony. And I told myself, ‘If he won’t go to joy, I’ma bring joy to him.’”

(Cut back to present. Anthony wipes a tear but tries to play it cool.)

Anthony:

“Amber… girl… this room feel like therapy, like Oprah came through and blessed it herself.”

SCENE 4: KAI ARRIVES

(Door opens. In walks Kai, headphones around his neck, hoodie on. He looks up… and freezes. His jaw drops. Tears immediately fill his eyes.)

Kai (softly):

“You did all this… for me?”

Amber (hugging him):

“Of course I did, baby. You needed to be reminded: you matter. You are not alone.”

(Anthony claps his hands and points at the ceiling.)

Anthony:

“COME ON, JESUS! This the kind of moment that make you cancel your therapy session ‘cause the house already healed you!”

(Mike sniffles but pretends he just has allergies.)

Mike:

“It’s just the balloons… I’m allergic to joy…”

SCENE 5: THE MESSAGE

Anthony (to camera):

“You see THIS? This what love look like. It ain’t about money, it’s about meaning. It ain’t about big gestures, it’s about big hearts.”

Anthony (turning to Amber):

“Girl, you didn’t just decorate a room… you decorated his spirit.”

(The music swells. Kai hugs Amber again. Everyone’s eyes are glossy with tears, even Mike, who still blames the balloons.)

SCENE 6: THE COMEDIC ENDING

(Cut to Anthony back in his car, talking to Mike.)

Anthony:

“You know what, man? I’m ‘bout to go home and decorate MY room. Shoot, might decorate my whole house.”

Mike:

“For who?”

Anthony:

“For ME. I deserve to feel loved too!”

(They drive off as Anthony starts describing his “decorating plans” – glitter curtains, mood lighting, a neon sign that says “KING ENERGY.”)
