Bethany sends Destiny to Sharra.

Destiny thought staying with Brooke would bring peace.

She had no idea she was stepping into Bethany’s territory… and Bethany never shares her space without a fight.

EXT. ATLANTA – DOWNS HOUSE – AFTERNOON

A warm golden sun settles over the quiet neighborhood.
Destiny steps out of a rideshare, a small suitcase in hand, excitement shining in her eyes.

INT. DOWNS HOUSE – ENTRYWAY – CONTINUOUS

BROOKE greets her with a bright smile.

BROOKE
Welcome home for now! Come on, I’ll show you your room.

They walk down the hallway, chatting. Destiny’s shoulders relax—finally, someone is happy she’s here.

Across the hall, BETHANY watches with a frown, arms crossed.

INT. DESTINY’S ROOM – MOMENTS LATER

Destiny unpacks quietly. Bethany appears in the doorway, sharp stance, sharper tone.

BETHANY
Destiny… don’t think you can just waltz in here like you own the place. This isn’t your home.

DESTINY
(with calm restraint)
I know, Bethany. Brooke told me I could stay here. I’m not trying to cause trouble.

Bethany smirks—unconvinced. She turns away, plotting.

MONTAGE – DAYS PASS

– Destiny organizes her room. Bethany critiques every detail.
– Destiny and Brooke laugh playing video games. Bethany interrupts, annoyed.
– Destiny gets dressed. Bethany barges in.

BETHANY
You’re wearing that? Not in my house.

Destiny quietly pulls away each time, sticking close to Brooke. But Bethany keeps coming—persistent, exhausting.

INT. LIVING ROOM – DAY – LARRY IS GONE

The house is unusually quiet. Destiny senses tension.
Bethany approaches, determined, almost triumphant.

BETHANY
Now that Larry isn’t here… it’s time you understand your place. You need to leave my house.

Destiny stiffens but stands her ground.

DESTINY
I’m just staying with Brooke for a little while. I’m not trying to cause problems.

BETHANY
(firm, unyielding)
No. Go stay with your aunt Sharra. That’s where you belong.

Destiny swallows frustration. Now isn’t the time to fight.

INT. DESTINY’S ROOM – MOMENTS LATER

Destiny packs slowly.
Brooke rushes in, eyes wide with concern.

BROOKE
Destiny… are you okay? Don’t let Bethany get to you. She’s being unfair.

DESTINY
I know. I’ll go to Aunt Sharra’s for now. Larry will understand when he gets back.

Brooke pulls her into a supportive hug.

EXT. DOWNS HOUSE – LATE AFTERNOON

Destiny leaves quietly.
A small suitcase. A steady breath.
She heads down the street toward Sharra’s home.

INT. SHARRA’S HOUSE – EVENING

Warm, safe, and calm. Destiny settles onto the couch, finally able to breathe.

She reflects: Brooke and Larry—support.
Bethany—chaos.
Family comes in different forms.

INT. SHARRA’S LIVING ROOM – LATER

Larry arrives, immediately understanding.

LARRY
Destiny… don’t worry about Bethany. She’ll always try to make things difficult. You’re staying where you’re supposed to be.

Destiny smiles—relieved, grounded.

EXT. SHARRA’S PORCH – SUNSET

Destiny steps outside, watching the sky turn gold and purple.
She feels steadier. Stronger. Loved.

Whatever storms Bethany stirs, Destiny knows she can weather them.
