Break Up War: Shayla vs. Delicia: The War for Iman😱💔
Shayla storms toward Delicia’s room to confront her —
but the door is already open.
Inside is a note on the bed:
“Before you blame me, ask Anthony why he warned Iman about you.”
Shayla’s breath stops.
Now she doesn’t know who the real enemy is.
INT. IMAN’S APARTMENT – AFTERNOON
Iman stands by the window, hands in his pockets, completely calm. Shayla paces back and forth, eyes glossy but no tears falling.
SHAYLA
Iman… you’re really doing this?
IMAN
Yeah. I think it’s better we end it here.
Shayla stares at him — shocked at how relaxed he is.
Her voice breaks, but her pride won’t let her beg.
SHAYLA
You… you not even sad.
IMAN
(quiet)
I’m just clear.
No emotion. No hesitation. He looks like he already moved on hours ago.
Shayla notices. Her stomach twists.
SHAYLA
You planned this. Didn’t you?
IMAN
(shrugs)
Maybe I just realized some things.
He walks away — no goodbye hug, no last look.
Shayla’s heart drops into silence.
EXT. ATLANTA STREETS – EVENING
Shayla walks in the same boots, same jacket, same makeup she put on at 8 a.m.
Her phone glued to her hand. She goes from house to house — a full emotional marathon.
People listen. People gossip.
But no one comforts.
Everyone laughs behind her back.
MONTAGE — “THE BREAKUP WORLD TOUR”
• Shayla at Wayne’s house, talking fast
• Shayla at Piarry’s door, wiping invisible tears
• Shayla leaning on her car hood, ranting
• Shayla saying the same line again and again:
“He broke up with me but he wasn’t even sad.”
INT. SHAYLA’S CAR – NIGHT
Shayla grips the steering wheel.
SHAYLA
Amber. Has to be Amber.
She probably planned something with Iman just to embarrass me…
Make me look crazy in front of Anthony.
But no… no… I’m not falling for it.
Her eyes burn with anger.
SHAYLA
Nobody plays me. Nobody.
INT. DELICIA & SHAYLA’S APARTMENT – NEXT MORNING
Shayla walks in quietly.
Delicia is making coffee, humming, completely unaware of the storm coming.
Shayla hesitates — Delicia is her best friend. Roommate. Safe place.
So she tries to stay calm.
SHAYLA
Hey… can we talk?
Delicia turns with a soft smile.
DELICIA
What happened to you yesterday? You didn’t come home.
Shayla bites her lip.
SHAYLA
Iman broke up with me.
Delicia freezes. A flash of guilt appears… but she hides it instantly.
DELICIA
Oh my God… I’m so sorry, Shay.
Shayla looks in her eyes, searching for lies.
SHAYLA
He didn’t look hurt. Not even a little.
It was like he already had someone else in mind.
Delicia swallows hard — carefully choosing her words.
DELICIA
Maybe… maybe it wasn’t about another girl.
Maybe he just wasn’t ready.
She smiles softly — too softly.
Shayla narrows her eyes.
Something feels off.
EXT. IMAN’S BUILDING – LATER
Shayla parks across the street, sunglasses low on her face.
She shouldn’t be here…
But she is.
She waits. Watches.
And then — she sees it.
Iman walking out of the building with Delicia’s hoodie on his shoulders.
Laughing. Relaxed.
Too relaxed.
And behind him — Delicia steps out, smiling, brushing her hair back.
They bump shoulders, teasing each other.
Shayla’s chest tightens.
SHAYLA
(whispers)
Delicia…
You lied.
She sinks into her seat as they walk to Iman’s car — joking, too close, too comfortable.
It clicks.
Every single thing clicks.
Iman wasn’t sad because Delicia was the plan.
Delicia didn’t confess because she knew.
Shayla didn’t need anyone to tell her — she just saw everything.
Her nails dig into the steering wheel.
SHAYLA
Just like my mother…
I will never accept loss.
Her voice drops — cold, dangerous.
SHAYLA
Delicia, you just chose war.
INT. SHAYLA’S APARTMENT – NIGHT
Shayla sits alone at the kitchen table.
Phone on the counter.
Staring at the wall.
She whispers to herself:
SHAYLA
I can destroy both of them…
But I can’t do it alone.
She thinks. HARD.
Who can hate Delicia enough?
Who can stand against Iman?
Who wants Shayla to fall… but wants Delicia to fall EVEN MORE?
One name pops into her head.
She smiles — slow and wicked.
SHAYLA
(softly)
Angelina.
She picks up her phone and scrolls to Angelina’s contact.
Her finger hovers — not calling yet…
Calculating.
SHAYLA
Yeah… you’ll help me.
Because if Delicia wins…
You lose too.
She leans back, eyes sharp, full of vengeance.
SHAYLA
Tomorrow… the real story starts.
EXT. UNKNOWN LOCATION – SAME NIGHT
A shadowy figure watches Shayla’s building from across the street.
Phone in hand.
They whisper into the receiver:
???
Yeah… she’s planning something.
This is about to get ugly.
They hang up.
Step into the darkness.
TO BE CONTINUED…
