“Tonight Changes Everything ⚠️ Larry Isn’t Alone in Chicago — and Bethany Has No Idea What’s Coming…”

“Chicago Isn’t Ready for This

[Phone ringing. Larry answers, already tense.]

Larry: Hello?

Bethany: Hey… hey. Can you hear me?

Larry: Yeah. I hear you. There’s noise on your end.

Bethany: I’m leaving the hotel, grabbing a bagel. Then I’m heading to Duchess’ house. Destiny needs a serious boot camp today.

Larry forces a breath, distracted by something happening behind him.

Larry: Did you sleep okay?

Bethany: Yeah… I did. But I’ve been thinking. A lot. Reflecting on everything from last night.

Larry flinches, knowing what’s coming.

Bethany: And I made a decision. A big one.

Larry: Okay… what is it?

Bethany: I’m coming to Chicago tonight.

Larry: You WHAT?

Bethany: Me and Brooke. Our bags are packed. Plane tickets bought.

Larry’s heart drops. He looks over his shoulder again—someone stalking in the background.

Larry: Bethany… why?

Bethany: Because with everything going on—Destiny, the drama, you—you need me there.

Larry’s voice cracks with stress.

Larry: Bethany, you should’ve talked to me first!

Bethany: Like you talked to me before you made your decisions? Larry, come on. That’s not fair.

Larry rubs his forehead, panicking.

Larry: Listen to me carefully. You don’t need to come. Stay home.

Bethany: Why are you being weird?

Larry: I’m not. I just—

Bethany: No, you are. What are you hiding?

Larry freezes. A shadow moves behind him. Someone calls out his name aggressively.

Muffled voice: “Larry! We need to talk. NOW.”

Bethany: …Larry? Who was that?

Larry: Nobody! Just—someone from the hotel.

Bethany’s tone sharpens.

Bethany: Larry, what did you get yourself into?

Larry: Nothing, Bethany. Just… listen. Things here are complicated.

Bethany whispers, suspicious and hurt.

Bethany: Complicated… with Destiny? Or complicated with someone else?

Larry: Bethany, don’t do that.

Bethany: Then tell me the truth. Why don’t you want me there?

He doesn’t answer. He can’t.

Bethany: Larry… talk to me.

Larry: I’m staying at the Zachary Hotel. That’s all you need to know.

Bethany: Larry, the way you’re acting—

Larry: Bethany, please! I said I’ll send you the details. Just stay calm.

Another voice shouts from behind Larry.

Voice: “You think you can run from this, Larry? Chicago ain’t big enough.”

Bethany: Larry… WHAT IS GOING ON?!

Larry: Nothing! Just… don’t come. I mean it!

Bethany breathes heavily, her worry turning into determination.

Bethany: Larry, we’re already coming. Whether you like it or not. Me and Brooke will be in Chicago tonight.

Larry: Bethany—

Bethany: Text me the hotel details. Goodbye.

She hangs up.

Larry stands frozen, phone still in his hand. The man behind him steps closer, voice low and threatening.

Man:

“So she’s coming… Good.

Let’s see how you explain everything when she gets here.”

Larry’s stomach twists.

Trouble didn’t just follow him to Chicago…

He walked right into it.

And now Bethany is flying straight into the storm.
