Will Bethany be able to salvage her marriage, or has she pushed Larry too far? Will Sharra and Larry finally stand up to her, or will Bethany destroy everything in her path? The battle for Larry’s heart is far from over…

1. The Storm Brewing

Bethany couldn’t stand it anymore. The nagging thought that Larry was spending too much on Sharra kept her up at night. Each time he bought something for his ex-wife, especially a big-ticket item like that ridiculous flat-screen TV, her jealousy flared. Bethany had always been protective of Larry’s money, and her suspicions about his growing affection for Sharra had been building for months. She was determined to find out what was really going on between them.

One morning, as she prepared to leave the house, she couldn’t shake the feeling that Larry was hiding something from her. It wasn’t just the gifts—it was the way he acted when he was with Sharra and their daughter, Brooke. He seemed different. Soft. More caring. Bethany wasn’t stupid. She knew exactly what that meant.

“I swear, Larry… if you’re not careful, I’ll make sure you never see the girls again,” she muttered under her breath, slamming the door behind her.

Her plan was simple. She was going to Sharra’s house. She didn’t care if it was early, and she didn’t care if it was uninvited. Bethany was going to snoop. She would find the proof she needed.

2. The Confrontation Looms

As Bethany drove towards Sharra’s apartment, she couldn’t help but rehearse her words in her head. “What did Larry buy for you? How much did he spend? Do you really think he’s going to leave me for you?” She would confront Sharra, and she would win this battle. After all, Larry had been her husband for years. She wasn’t going to let some ex-wife and a TV tear their family apart.

Bethany parked her car a little further down the street, hidden from sight. She wasn’t ready to let Larry know she was watching, but she couldn’t resist. She grabbed her phone, texted Larry a quick message: “Just checking in. Don’t let Sharra get too comfortable. I’m still your wife.”

A moment later, her phone buzzed. It was Larry.

“Bethany, stop. You’re not going to like what you find. Don’t go to Sharra’s today.”

But it was too late. The tension had been building for weeks, and Bethany wasn’t going to back down now.

3. A Sneaky Visit

Bethany walked slowly towards the building, feeling a mix of excitement and anger. She had to get inside. She had to know the truth.

As she reached Sharra’s door, she hesitated for a second. What if Sharra didn’t let her in? What if she found out Larry had been hiding something even bigger than just a TV? What if everything she thought she knew about her husband and his ex-wife was a lie?

She knocked three times, her heart pounding in her chest. No answer.

“Typical,” she muttered. Sharra probably knows I’m onto her.

But just as she was about to turn away, the door creaked open. Sharra’s face appeared in the crack, her eyes narrowing when she saw who it was.

“Bethany, what are you doing here?” Sharra asked, her voice calm but cautious.

“I need to talk to you,” Bethany said, forcing a smile. “I think we both need to have a little chat about Larry and what he’s been buying.”

Sharra sighed. “I don’t know what you think is going on, but you’re wrong. Larry’s been nothing but supportive, and if you came here to cause trouble—”

“I didn’t come here to cause trouble,” Bethany interrupted, stepping into the doorway. “I came here to find out the truth. Larry’s been buying you gifts. Expensive ones. What is that about, huh?”

Sharra didn’t flinch. “I don’t need to explain myself to you, Bethany. Larry does what he wants with his money. And as for the TV, well, maybe you should ask him about it.”

Bethany’s eyes narrowed. She had expected this. She had expected Sharra to act like she wasn’t doing anything wrong. But she wasn’t backing down.

“You think I’m stupid, don’t you? You think I don’t know what’s going on between you two. But I’ll tell you one thing, Sharra,” Bethany said, her voice growing louder, “I’m not going to let you take my family. I’ll make sure of it.”

Before Sharra could respond, Bethany barged past her into the apartment, her eyes darting around, looking for anything that might give her the proof she needed.

4. The Hidden Truth

As Bethany walked through the apartment, she couldn’t help but notice how different it looked from the last time she was here. It was cleaner, more organized. And then her eyes landed on it—the TV. The big, flat-screen TV sitting proudly in the living room, just as she had feared.

“So this is what he bought you, huh?” Bethany said, her voice dripping with anger. “This is how you’ve been spending my husband’s money.”

Sharra stood frozen for a moment, then finally spoke, “It’s just a gift, Bethany. Larry and I are co-parents. We do things for each other sometimes. You wouldn’t understand.”

Bethany’s face turned red. “I understand perfectly. He’s been spending his money on you, Sharra. And I’m done letting you two play these games. Larry will have to choose—me or you.

Just then, Bethany’s phone buzzed again. It was Larry.

“You don’t want to go down this road, Bethany,” the text read. “I’m telling you. If you keep pushing, I’m done. I’ll give you the divorce.”

Bethany felt her heart drop. She had always known it was a possibility, but hearing those words made it real. Larry was done. She had pushed him too far.

5. The Choice

Bethany turned to Sharra, her eyes full of fury. “You think you’ve won, but you haven’t. Larry’s mine—and I’ll make sure you know that.”

But Sharra didn’t flinch. Instead, she crossed her arms and said, “You’re not the one Larry is afraid of, Bethany. It’s not me. It’s you.”

Suddenly, Bethany felt a cold chill. The realization hit her: she had crossed a line she might not be able to come back from.

As she turned and stormed out of Sharra’s apartment, her phone buzzed again.

It was Larry. And this time, the message was clear: “You’ve pushed me too far. This is over.”

Bethany stood frozen in the hallway, her heart racing.

The war was just beginning—and she was about to lose it all.
