🏠 SCENE 1: TENSION IN THE HOUSE
(Camera opens in the kitchen. The air is heavy.)
Bethany stands at the counter when she hears Brooke laughing loudly on the phone.
Bethany (irritated): “Brooke, lower your voice. I’ve told you that a hundred times.”
Brooke (turns around, angry): “You’re not my mom. You don’t get to tell me what to do.”
