When Angelina sees Amber and Shayla embrace each other!
A dramatic-comedy skit inspired by forgiveness, growth & real emotions
Scene Opens
A quiet living room. The lighting is soft. AMBER and SHAYLA are seated on the couch, tears still fresh, emotions heavy in the air. The room feels like something sacred just happened.
ANGELINA
Oh my God… is this real? Are y’all actually hugging?
AMBER
Angelina? We didn’t even hear you come in.
SHAYLA
Girl, the timing… this moment is already heavy.
ANGELINA
I’m not gone cry, y’all heifer… but seeing this? It got me. I walked out earlier mad, then I walk back in and see forgiveness in action.
AMBER
We just… needed to talk. No noise. No outside opinions.
SHAYLA
I apologized. For real this time. I owed her that.
ANGELINA
And that’s growth. People always say forgiveness is easy. It’s not. It’s messy. It makes you cry at 9 in the morning like strangers on Facebook.
AMBER
(smiling through tears)
I didn’t think I’d ever get this moment.
ANGELINA
All I could see was Jesus truly poppin. I was mad all over again when I saw you earlier… then I saw this hug. God said, “Watch this.”
SHAYLA
I’m still learning. I’ll probably never be this mature again.
ANGELINA
Girl, same. Don’t get used to it.
Diesel Pulls Up
A car pulls up outside. The mood shifts again.
AMBER
Is that Diesel?
ANGELINA
Yup. And you already know what that means. Cocoa about to find out in two to five business days.
SHAYLA
(laughing)
She definitely calling her as soon as she gets in the car.
AMBER
Maybe. But today isn’t about that. Today was about forgiveness.
ANGELINA
Exactly. If God forgives, we should too. Karma will handle the rest.
Final Moment
SHAYLA
People still gonna be mad… but this? This is growth.
AMBER
Thank you… both of you.
ANGELINA
This is one of those moments you don’t fake. Messed up makeup, real tears, real healing.
The three women stand together. No anger. No shouting. Just understanding.
ANGELINA
Alright… let’s go before another episode starts.
