The Broken Call – A Moment of Anger
๐Ÿ“ž THE BROKEN CALL ๐Ÿ’”

Isaiah ๐Ÿ“ž called Brooke, hoping to discuss something important. His voice was calm — but urgent.

“Hey Brooke, are you there? I really need to talk to you.”

But it wasn’t Brooke who answered.

It was Bethany.

“Brooke isn’t here right now,” she replied coldly.

Isaiah paused. “Can you tell her I called? It’s important.”

“Fine.”

She hung up. But something inside her was already burning.

She stared at Brooke’s phone ๐Ÿ“ฑ in her hand — the screen glowing in the dark room.

“Why does everyone keep calling?” she whispered.

Her grip tightened. The frustration built fast.

“Enough!”

In a sudden burst of anger, Bethany threw the phone against the wall. ๐Ÿ“ต

CRACK!

The glass shattered. The screen went black.

Silence filled the room.

“What have I done…” she whispered.

The phone was lifeless now. No lights. No response.

Meanwhile, Isaiah kept waiting. He tried calling again. ๐Ÿ“ž

The phone rang… and rang… but no one answered.

Later, Brooke returned.

“Brooke… I need to tell you something,” Bethany said nervously.

“What happened?”

“I broke your phone. I was angry… I lost control.”

Brooke looked at the shattered device.

Then she surprised her.

“It’s just a phone. Things can be replaced. Honesty matters more.” ๐Ÿ˜Š

Bethany felt relief wash over her.

They talked. Not about blame — but about control, anger, and trust.

Later, Isaiah texted:

“Hey, I tried calling earlier. Everything okay?”

Brooke replied:

“Yeah, we’re fine. Sorry we missed your call.”

๐Ÿ’ก Lesson: Anger may feel powerful in the moment… but accountability rebuilds what anger destroys. Growth begins with honesty.
